CTE Machining

I’m from WA State-Pacific NW. I’ve spent time in UT, CO, AR, Kansas, ID, TX, and now back to CO. I’m married and have 5 sons, 8 bonus sons, 2 bonus daughters, and 23 grandchildren. I’m new to PTEC and excited I’ve had the opportunity to work here. I’ve been teaching for 18 years, grades 5-12 in science, machine shop, agriculture, and music. I was voted Rookie Ag Teacher of the year. I have two students who won National Recognition for events in the Technology Student Association. I have a B.S. Degree Range Science BYU 1977, M.S. Range, Forestry, Ag Education, Ag Mechanics, (machine shop, welding, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics. 1992 Washington State University. CDL Class A-Long haul trucking 2010-2014. My goals are to teach my students how to solve problems. Look at a task, set up steps to accomplish task, complete task. I will provide help along the way but allow students to do the job. I came here as an opportunity to be an influence for good. I enjoy hunting, fishing (especially on the Gulf of Mexico), gardens/flowers, vegetables, and music trained musician.
