Paula Duray

This is my first year at PTEC.  I have been teaching for 12 years-2 years at Banning Lewis Academy and 10 years in District 11.  I have taught several different science classes as well as math.  Five of my 12 years were in middle school and 7 years in high school.  I will be teaching chemistry and metallurgy here at PTEC.  Thanks to my husband of 31 years, The Chuck Duray of PTEC, I made the move to PTEC this school year.  I have a background in applied science with a BS in Biology focused in cytotechnology and a MS in Health Administration.  I worked 13 years diagnosing cancer at the cellular level.  Thanks to my 3 children, now all adults, I made the switch to teaching. I am not a native of Colorado, but I am a native of New Jersey. I am excited to begin a new chapter of my life with the students and parents of PTEC.
