Linda Riden

World History II/Photojournalism/Lead History Teacher

Linda originally joined the James Irwin Family as a middle school teacher from 2009-2011. Her military husband was then reassigned to a few different bases and therefore Linda decided to get her Masters in Teaching from Liberty University to compliment her Bachelors in International Business from Cal State Fullerton. When it was time to retire from the USAF, she and her family decided that Colorado Springs was the place to be and she was very happy to rejoin the James Irwin Family in 2017 at the high school.

Linda is in her 7th year of teaching World History and 2nd year of teaching Photojournalism. She loves photography and travel, so these two subjects are a natural fit. Previous careers include working on the Space Station and the B-2 as a data manager and managing a billing company for doctors. High school students are way more fun!
