Director of Advancement

Linda Carroll has served as the Director of Advancement for James Irwin Charter Schools since 2014.  She has spent 27 years working with charter and private schools as the cofounder of the following schools:  Cheyenne Mountain Charter Academy/The Vanguard School in 1995, Colorado Springs Charter Academy in 2005, and Power Technical, a James Irwin Charter School in 2016.  She was also heavily involved with creating Pioneer Classical and Jackson Hole Classical Academy in Jackson Hole, Wyoming (2011-2014)

When she was not starting schools, Linda served as an educational consultant for Steve Schuck/Alex Cranberg (2004-2005), was the Managing Director of an investment bank for non-profits, Counsel & Capital,  (2006-2010) and served as a Philanthropic Advancement Consultant for National Christian Foundation (2010-2014).  Linda served Governor Owens as the Senior Commissioner on the Colorado State Judicial Performance Commissioner from 2000 to 2008 and served as an Officer of The Colorado Lawyers Chapter of The Federalist Society from 2000-2013.   Mrs. Carroll graduated with a BA from Westmont College, Santa Barbara, CA and has taken multiple graduate courses in Organizational Management, Business Law, Human Resources, and Marketing from UCCS.

Linda's biggest joy is her two adult children (both products of Cheyenne Mountain Charter Academy), their spouses and her granddaughter.  She enjoys praying and baking goodies for the Colorado Spring Police Department, walking her two Australian Shepherds, and getting together with friends and family.
