U.S. Congressman Jeff Crank of Colorado's 5th Congressional District and his wife, Lisa, visited PTEC on Monday, March 30, 2026. The Cranks toured the PTEC campus with CEO Rob Daugherty, PTEC Principal Jim Downing, and incoming Principal Angelo Jaramillo. They visited multiple shop classes and science classes. Representative Crank had the following to say of his visit, "PTEC is doing great things to respond to the needs of the technical industry and gives our young students the chance to jump into lucrative, high-demand jobs shortly after graduating from high school."
