James Irwin Charter Schools (“JICS”) is excited to announce that the Daniels Fund has approved a grant for $86,940 to support the creation of football teams at James Irwin Charter Middle School (“JICMS”) and James Irwin Charter High School (“JICHS”). In addition to adding a football program to JICMS, the high school will launch a JV team with the clear intent of building a varsity program in the coming years. According to JICS CEO Rob Daugherty, “The Daniel Fund’s generous grant will expand opportunities for our students, strengthen our school culture and make fuller use of the facilities we have already invested in.”
