Michael Prusinowski

Athletic Director

Mike Prusinowski graduated from Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, TN, in 1987 with a degree in Secondary Education with Math proficiency and a Computer Science minor. In Delaware, he taught math for 19 years—all levels from 6th grade general math to 12th grade Calculus. It was there he married his wife and started a family. Eventually, in 2009, he, his wife, and their youngest daughter made the move to Colorado Springs to become part of the JICS family where he became the athletic director. Mike has supported the middle and high school administrations, teachers, students, and families through the years and has been an integral part of building the JIC athletic programs—adding golf, wrestling, boys’ volleyball, and the outdoor stadium to the JICS programs. He was also instrumental in getting boys' volleyball sanctioned by CHSAA beginning in the 2020-2021 school year. Mike currently serves as the president of both the middle school Central Colorado Athletic League and high school Tri-Peaks League.
