Enrollment

A slot in the lottery does NOT enroll your student. Failure to complete the following steps will cause you to forfeit your student’s spot for 2008-2009.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

If your student received a spot in the lottery, complete the following steps to begin the enrollment process

  1. Calls will be made by the Admissions Office beginning February 13, 2008 to all families who received a spot in the lottery
  2. Families have 3 days from the date of the call to notify the Admissions office at 576-8055 ext. 2 of their acceptance or decline of the spot by signing the letter of acceptance.
  3. Parents will be assigned a mandatory parent information meeting date. Enrollment packets will be distributed and completed at the Parent Information meeting. The following must be turned in at the parent information meeting –
    1. All enrollment paperwork completed and signed
    2. Copy of the student’s immunization record
    3. Copy of student’s birth certificate
    4. Copy of most recent report card/transcript from current school
    5. Attendance report from current school
    6. Discipline report from current school
    7. A copy of your student’s IEP, 504, or any other special services they have received
  4. Students will be assigned a date for placement testing when parents attend the mandatory information meeting and enrollment paperwork is complete.
  5. Complete placement testing
  6. When testing results are available, you will be contacted to go over those results and discuss placement and the scheduling of classes.
  7. Attend the Mandatory Show Day/Orientation the last week of July.

If your student is placed on the wait list, complete the following steps :

  1. Parents will be assigned a date for a mandatory parent information meeting. Enrollment packets will be distributed and competed at the Parent Information meeting. The following must be turned in at the parent information meeting –
    1. All enrollment paperwork completed and signed

    7. A copy of your student’s IEP, 504, or any other special services they have received
  2. Students will be assigned a date for placement testing when parents attend the mandatory information meeting and enrollment paperwork is complete.

  5. When a spot opens up for your student, you will receive a call from the Admissions Office. You will have 3 days from the date of the call to notify the Admissions Office at 576-8055 ext. 2 of your acceptance or decline of the spot by signing the letter of acceptance.
