Our school is named for James Benson Irwin, the United States astronaut from Colorado. He was a man of character and integrity. This is the model we strive to place before our students.

We will provide an environment in which students are known respected and valued as individuals of potential and promise. James Irwin was the 8th man to walk on the moon. He, along with Commander David Scott and Command Pilot Alfred Worden, comprised the Apollo 15 Mission Crew.
