Working with ABC Fund Raising, Inc., James Irwin Charter Elementary School raised $880 for the Yellow Ribbon Campaign in Colorado Springs. The amount is the most raised in Colorado Springs of the 18 schools participating. Continue reading

All James Irwin Family and friends are invited to our Veteran’s Day assembly on Friday, Nov. 11 at 1:00 in the HS gym.  We will be honoring our soldiers so please come.

Cadet Tyler Guest (a Colorado Springs resident) will be at Ruth Holley Meeting Room at the Ruth Holley Library at 6PM on Nov 23 with the informational session starting at 6:30.

The target audience for this briefing is Juniors, Sophomores and Freshmen. Parents are welcome. Prospective candidates for the West Point Class of 2016,  need to start their files in their second semester of their  Junior year.

Separately, applications Juniors for the West Point Summer Leadership Seminary, a highly competitive one week program will begin in mid December. I will send an email in early December, but if you are interested, you can go to www.usma.edu for more information.
