The ladies kicked off the season by defeating Sorocco High in two straight games, 25-12, 25-21. The team was led by Ashley Zachary with 4 kills, 6 blocks and 3 aces; Julia Buckingham with 7 digs and Kalyn Brenner with 4 assists
The ladies contined their winning ways in the tournament by defeating host Lake County 2 games to 1. After struggling in the first games, losing 26-28; the Jags came back to dominate 25-10, 15-9 behind the net play of Caitlyn Martinez. Amanda Fisher had 4 kills, 5 assists and 6 digs. Kalyn Brenner added 4 assists and 4 digs; Ellie Mateo-Swanson had 9 digs and Athena Lefano-Savali had 5 digs.
