Our Mission Statement

The mission of the James Irwin Charter Elementary School is to help guide and motivate students in the development of their character and academic potential through academically rigorous, content-rich educational programs.

Goal

JICES will build the curricular resources that support the DI (Direct Instruction) groups and Core Knowledge (CK) sequence to meet an enrollment of 515 students. JICES will meet AYP and CSAP goals in Grades 3-5.

Vision

These curricula will allow for the dynamic, flexible instructional grouping we need in the basic skills (reading, math, spelling), and will support and accelerate mastery learning in all subjects.
